Facilitation of Online Instructional Design

The purpose of this course is the familiarize instructors with the doctrine of learner-centered activity site for eLearning courses. The Structured Observed Learning Outcomes (SOLO) Taxonomy applied to their hybrid and online instructional design (ID) for distance education will introduce them to the methodology of teaching proficiency to academic learners via collaboration. This will encourage facilitation to an advanced level with active learning, constructive alignment, and authentic evaluation for the intended learning outcomes. They will be introduced to engaging in two activities of self-directed course design for significant learning. First, by gathering information and making decisions about the way the course will be taught. Second, engage in teacher-student interactions as they implement the strategy based on the framework of integrated course design.
